Introduction

Nagi.Timer ("we", "our", or "the app") is a local-first focus timer for iOS and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

The short version: Nagi.Timer is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect any personal information, we do not use analytics or behavioral tracking, and we do not sell data to third parties.

Data Controller

The data controller responsible for this app is:

Agata Raap
c/o MDC Management#5422

Data We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Nagi.Timer stores the following data locally on your device using SQLite and on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

  • Timer session history (start time, end time, duration, phase type)
  • Tags associated with sessions
  • App preferences (theme, sound, vibration, timer presets)
  • Custom tags and timer configurations (Premium)

This data is stored exclusively on your device. We have no ability to access, read, or retrieve it. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.

Data We Do Not Collect

Nagi.Timer does not collect:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data

Product Analytics

Nagi.Timer does not use any product analytics, behavioral tracking, or session-recording services. We do not collect data about how you use the app, which screens you view, or which features you interact with.

Previous versions of the app used PostHog for anonymous product analytics. PostHog has been fully removed; no analytics SDK is present in current builds.

In-App Purchases & RevenueCat

Nagi.Timer offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. To manage these purchases, we use RevenueCat as our payment processor.

What RevenueCat Processes

When you make a purchase or restore a previous purchase, RevenueCat processes the following data on our behalf:

  • An anonymous app user ID (not linked to your identity)
  • Purchase and subscription status information provided by the App Store or Google Play Store
  • Transaction receipts for purchase validation

RevenueCat acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement. They do not use your data for their own purposes beyond providing us with subscription management services.

On iOS, if you install Nagi.Timer after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, an attribution token provided by Apple's AdServices framework is forwarded to RevenueCat so we can measure which campaign (if any) led to a subscription. The token does not contain an advertising identifier (IDFA) and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.

For more information, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

App Stores

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform. The respective store handles all payment information directly. We never receive or store your payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Your data is governed by the applicable store's privacy policy: Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Nagi.Timer may request permission to send local notifications to alert you when a timer phase completes. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

Feedback Emails

If you contact us via email (e.g. for support or feedback), we process your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. Your email and its contents are deleted as soon as the inquiry has been processed. No feedback email data is stored long-term or shared with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Nagi.Timer uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat, Inc.
San Francisco, California, USA
Purpose: In-app purchase and subscription management
Privacy Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics services, or sell data to third parties.

Data Transfers

RevenueCat is based in the United States. When data is processed by this service, it may be transferred to and processed in the United States. RevenueCat maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Data Retention

Local data on your device is retained for as long as the app is installed. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Subscription data processed by RevenueCat is retained according to its data retention policy and applicable legal requirements.

Data Deletion

Local data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. To request deletion of any data processed by RevenueCat on our behalf (anonymous app user ID and purchase / subscription state), use the Feedback option in the app (Settings → Feedback). That option opens your default mail client and pre-fills the identifiers we need to locate your data (anonymous RevenueCat user ID, device, OS, app version). We respond within 7 days and forward the request to RevenueCat on your behalf. If you no longer have the app installed, you can still email nagitimer@bugsntea.dev with the subject "Data deletion request" — we'll ask follow-up questions to identify your records.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request information about data processed about you
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction — request restricted processing of your data
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with a supervisory authority

Since Nagi.Timer is local-first and we do not collect personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by design. For any requests related to data processed by RevenueCat, please contact us at nagitimer@bugsntea.dev.

Children's Privacy

Nagi.Timer does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not require an account and does not collect personal data from any user.
